Power-Pop Trio Changes Name to 1GN
Reunion Records (Provident/Sony) to Release New Single/Video Spring 2016

NASHVILLE — Maxximum Artist Group has signed Reunion Records’ (Provident/Sony) vocal group, 1 Girl Nation, to an exclusive management agreement. The announcement was made by Mitchell Solarek, president of the firm which also represents Christian and Gospel artists Natalie Grant, Danny Gokey, Donald Lawrence, and others.

“I am impressed by the dedication and perseverance these ladies have demonstrated over the past couple of years,” says Solarek. “The two qualities are essential factors in our decision to get involved. Another factor was the incredible commitment that Terry Hemmings and his team at Provident Label Group have shown to breaking this artist.” Solarek also states that based on the new direction of 1GN and Maxximum’s history with developing successful groups, this group fits perfectly within the Maxximum Artist family.

As part of the continued maturation of its artistry, the three-member group has officially changed its name to 1GN, reflecting the expansion of its musical appeal to ever-widening audiences. Reunion Records has designated a spring release for the group’s new video and single, “Get Hype.”

1GN is a blend of upbeat Christian pop music with lyrics intently focused on overcoming hate with love, and having fun while living a life of authentic faith. The trio, comprising Carmen Hadley, Kayli Robinson, and Lauryn Taylor Bach, saw its 2013 debut album reach No. 2 on Billboard magazine’s “Heatseeker Albums” chart and No. 9 on the trade publication’s “Top Christian Albums” list. A release date for the group’s full-length sophomore project has not yet been announced.
