Song Evaluation
Have your song(s) and/or demo(s) evaluated for commercial hit potential and professional craftsmanship, as they would be evaluated by record label A&R.
- Up to one (1) song with 15-minute phone/video consultation
- Up to three (3) songs with 30- to 45-minute phone/video consultation
A&R Consulting/Artist Development

Jason McArthur provides A&R Consulting/Artist Development services for artists for a monthly fee. This service mirrors the kind of A&R oversight artists receive when signed to record labels and includes more in-depth work with an artist, with the goal of getting their material into a commercially viable place. This includes:
- Song crafting, evaluation and honing (getting the song right!)
- Developing the artist’s sound, identity and public profile
- Pairing the artist with specific professional songwriters, producers, other artists, vocal coaches, choreographers, booking agents and/or managers (as needed)
- Performance coaching – sharpening the artist’s live show for label showcases and performances
- Helping the artist better connect with fans and build a fan base
- Social media strategy
- Public relations/Media Training
- Marketing strategy
NOTE: Studio recording costs and fees associated with music creation are separate and not included as part of the A&R Consulting/Artist Development fees.
Executive Producing

The Executive Producing service includes all the services listed in the A&R Consulting/Artist Development service, but is also designed to bring an artist’s professional album project to full execution and distribution. An additional goal is to help pitch the project to record labels and streaming platforms for possible distribution and promotion at a higher level, using Jason’s long-time relationships with record label executives, music publishers, hit songwriters and producers, marketing and social media professionals, streaming and playlist curators, publicists, promoters, artist managers, booking agents, music business attorneys, and radio professionals.
