GRAMMY-nominated Contemporary Christian music band Royal Tailor recently visited The Recording Academy’s Nashville Chapter and participated in an exclusive GRAMMY.com interview. The quartet discussed working as full-time musicians, receiving their first GRAMMY nomination and their advice for aspiring artists, among other topics.
“I think a mistake that a lot of young artists make is publishing themselves too quickly,” said Royal Tailor lead vocalist Tauren Wells. “But I think there needs to be that cultivation period where you really hone in on your craft and skills so that when you bring it to a national platform it’s recognized.”
